Lake Tremorgio is an Alpine lake located above the village of Rodi, which is a part of the Municipality of Prato Leventina.
The Tremorgio area can be reached by foot from Dalpe, Fiesso and Mascengo, or you can opt for the comfortable cable car owned by AET from Rodi.
The cableway consists of two 8-seat cabins that covers a distance in altitude of 900 meters in just 5 minutes and is open to the public from the beginning of June until the end of September.
It is only a 3 minute walk from the arrival station to the famous lake and the Tremorgio hut.
The Tremorgio area is both an ideal destination for a quiet family walk around the lake with a lunch in the Tremorgio hut, and a starting point for those who thirst challenging excursions.
Among the various possible excursions, the one’s that are worth mentioning are:
- The Tour of Lake Tremorgio (tourist trail)
- The Campolungo Geo touristic path
- The Lake of Leìt – Campo Tencia route
- The Alto Tremorgio Path (Tremorgio – Airolo)
- The Tremorgio – Dalpe route (via Passo Vanit)
